I cannot bestow enough praise on the B&B and the staff/owners. As other guests commented, 'there is nothing they haven't thought of.' The rooms were immaculate and I always appreciate a friendly house cat and dog, who were mostly outside pets. I also loved the many birds, lizards, frogs, and alleged fish present. It was just fantastic..." Copied by Innkeeper "... The way the room patios are designed makes you feel like you are alone in nature. I recommend swimming in the pond for a bit of afternoon exercise. There is also a great bike riding road on Deer Valley Road, and a huge mountain bike area nearby." | |

Reviews Eden Vale Inn B&B Placerville San Francisco Chronicle, March 28, 2010
Review San Francisco Chronicle, March 28, 2010
"...it's a good chance you weren't raised in a barn. A few places, however, were raised originally as barns. Now, instead of crumbled, picturesque relics begging to be part of a photographic essay, you have lodgings, restaurants, wineries and museums. Here's a few modern spots with rural roots that even Bessie would approve of.”
Five Inns reviewed: "1. Eden Vale Inn, Placerville, CA Sleep tight in contemporary rooms fitted into a repurposed 1918 hay barn. All have outdoor seating, and two have a two-person Japanese soaking tub on a private deck…. “

“When not busy relaxing by a slate fireplace in the living room, where the barn's timbered ceilings soar to 27 feet, guests can wander extensive gardens. 1780 Springvale Road, Placerville; (530) 621-0901; http//www.EdenValeInn.com. “

Review Eden Vale Inn Bed and Breakfast Placerville Coloma California
Posted 3/5/10
"I wanted to celebrate Monica Rose's birthday in the Gold Country and we prefer to stay at B&B's. Eden Vale Inn suited us perfectly with an extremely comfortable king-size bed and sinfully delicious breakfasts. We stayed 3 nights and they were the best in our B&B experience."
Review of Eden Vale Inn on BedandBreakfast.com
"A recent conversion of a country "mansion" the Eden Vale Inn has many sophisticated convenience features, yet retains the beautiful charms of its roots. All aspects of the property were delightful to us, beginning with our room and the inside common areas, and continuing to the luxuriant exterior surrounding property. The inn-keepers (Mark, Gayle, and Kirsten) treated us with wonderful warmth and hospitality, as did all of their staff-members. Actually it is difficult to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Eden Vale without sounding like we're "gushing." Suffice it to say we want to return there whenever we are in the Gold Country! You can call me Erland."
